Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by your private guide and then escorted to Negombo.

Day 2: Colombo / Pinnawala / Sigiriya

Wake up early and explore one of the most vibrant markets in Sri Lanka. The Negombo Fish Market is a bustling spot of activity from 6.00 – 6.30 am as locals weave through stalls piled with an array of sea creatures. Experience the local commerce first-hand, observe the hustle and bustle, and get an insight into Sri Lankan culture that you won’t find anywhere else.

Sigiriya is a stunning ancient city located in the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka. From its majestic rock fortress to its lush gardens. You can explore the ruins of this ancient capital, take in the breathtaking views from atop the rock fortress, and enjoy a stroll through its lush gardens. A visit to Sigiriya promises an enriching journey that celebrates Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage.

Dambulla is a stunning natural wonder located in the heart of Sri Lanka. Once here, you’ll be able to visit the famous Dambulla Cave Temple, which dates back to the 2nd century BC and is home to many magnificent Buddha images and rock paintings. This vast isolated rock mass rises high above the surrounding plains and offers a unique glimpse into Sri Lanka’s ancient history and culture. Day 3: Sigiriya / Hiriwadunna / Minneriya Jeep safari

An exploration of the rural village of Hiriwadunna offers an authentic experience of the lush Sri Lankan countryside. Take a jeep or tuk-tuk to explore paddy fields, vegetable plantations, and the traditional way of life. Spend 2.5-3 hours on a village tour to view stunning landscapes, meet friendly locals, and enjoy mouthwatering local delicacies.

Sailing away in a catamaran is an experience unlike any other. The gentle rocking of the waves, the beauty of the lake, and the feeling of freedom it brings are incomparable. As you sail along, you can enjoy the fantastic view, look out for birds and butterflies, and even spot villagers fishing or washing clothes at the periphery. A catamaran ride will give you memories that will last a lifetime!

Join us on an exciting journey through the majestic Minneriya National Park. On this Jeep safari, we will witness the magical gathering of over 300 Asian elephants. As we explore the park, we will get up close and personal with these majestic creatures and take in the breathtaking sight of nature’s beauty. The safari starts around 2.30 – 3.00 pm so be sure to be ready for an unforgettable afternoon!

Day 4: Sigiriya / Trincomalee 

The 5th-century Sigiriya Rock Fortress is an iconic landmark, a World Heritage Site, and a symbol of Sri Lankan history and culture. Rising 200 meters from the surrounding jungle, it is a massive fortress that was built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century. Exploring the majestic citadel requires a 2.5-hour hike up and down, but the breathtaking view at the top is worth every step. In the morning sunlight, Sigiriya Rock Fortress stands tall as a reminder of Sri Lanka’s past and its vibrant culture.

Located in the heart of Sri Lanka, Sigiriya is a magnificent ancient fortress surrounded by beautiful gardens. The impressive rock formation stands out majestically in the surrounding landscape and is home to some of the world’s most breathtaking frescoes. Extensive gardens including mid-water gardens ring the base of the rock, making it a stunning sight to behold. Day 5: Trincomalee

Embark on an unforgettable early morning journey with a dolphin-watching experience! Get up and join us at our hotel in Trincomalee at 6.00 am for a boat departure at 6.30 am. We’ll provide you with a packed breakfast and water bottles to keep you fueled throughout the adventure. Look forward to an unforgettable experience as we explore the waters of Trincomalee in search of dolphins!

If you’re looking for an exciting adventure, Pigeon Island is the perfect place to explore! You can take a boat ride to the island and enjoy the breathtaking views of crystal clear waters and lush green landscapes. Once there, you can even take a snorkeling session for 1.5-2 hours, giving you an up-close look at the colorful marine life that inhabits the area. With so much to see and do, Pigeon Island is sure to be an unforgettable experience!

Day 6: Trincomalee / Kandy

In the morning proceed to Ceylon’s old capital Kandy (Approximately 4.5-5hrs).

Day 7: Kandy

Today is a unique opportunity to explore the culture and cuisine of Sri Lanka. You will have the chance to attend a cookery class conducted by local women, giving you an insight into the intricacies of their cuisine. You will be given a chance to learn about its various flavors and ingredients, as well as explore its vast culinary history.

Taking a tuk-tuk ride to the market is an exciting and fun way to experience the local culture. You can explore the narrow streets of the city, smell the fragrant spices in the air, and bargain for fresh produce. From vegetables to fish and everything in between, you can purchase all of your ingredients for a delicious home-cooked meal from one convenient location.

Day 8: Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

Day 9: Nuwara Eliya

Get ready for a memorable day at Horton’s Plain National Park. Start your day with a packed breakfast and let’s go to explore the park’s breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife. With an early start of 6.30 am from your hotel, you can make the most of your visit and create lasting memories.

Horton Plains National Park is a stunning World Heritage Site situated on the southern edge of the Central Highlands, midway between Nuwara Eliya and Haputale. This 8 km walk offers visitors a chance to explore its picturesque montane forests and grasslands, filled with diverse wildlife. The journey takes about 2.5 – 3 hours and is a must-visit for those looking to get in touch with nature.

Sri Lanka is home to a wide variety of wildlife, and the elusive Sri Lankan leopard is one of its most prized inhabitants. With luck and patience, you may spot one of these majestic creatures in its natural habitat. The best time to spot them is during the late afternoon when they come out to hunt.

Day 10: Nuwara Eliya / Kitulgala / Colombo

Kitulgala is a small town located in the west of Sri Lanka and it is the perfect place for an early morning excursion. There is something for everyone. With its unique culture and friendly locals, this beautiful town will be sure to provide you with an amazing experience.

Embark on an exhilarating journey down the majestic Kelani River. Our white water rafting excursion will take you through five major rapids and four minor rapids, ensuring that even experienced rafters will get their adrenaline fix. Our experienced and knowledgeable instructors will provide a safety briefing to make sure everyone is aware of the risks and can enjoy this activity safely. Anyone over the age of 10 can join in the fun!
