2. Driving time in the program is approximate, subject to traffic, weather, and road conditions.
3. Enter the temple premises Women are required to wear long sleeves and a skirt or pants to the ankles; men are required to wear long pants, also Must be removed, a scarf, Hats, and Slipper….)

Day 1: Arrival / Colombo

Get ready to experience the beauty, culture, and charm of Sri Lanka! Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private chauffeur guide who will escort you to Colombo. Get ready to explore a world of wonder and adventure that awaits you in Sri Lanka!

Day 2: Colombo / Pinnawala / Sigiriya

Wake up and start your morning with a thrilling journey to Sigiriya! This journey will take you through the country’s rich cultural triangle, offering you breathtaking views of nature as well as a chance to explore Sri Lanka’s vibrant culture.

The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an animal sanctuary like no other. This orphanage has the world’s largest herd of captive elephants. It is a unique place that provides a safe and nurturing environment for wild Asian elephants whose parents have been killed or displaced in the wild. This orphanage not only provides shelter to these majestic creatures but also works to educate, research, and conserve them for future generations.

Continue to Sigiriya (2.5hrs)

The Sigiriya Rock Fortress is a stunning 5th-century structure. Built by King Kashyapa in 477-495 AD. This fortress stands 200 meters tall and is an impressive feat of architecture. Not only is it a World Heritage Site, but it is also a popular tourist destination due to its breathtaking view from the top. Climbing the fortress takes around 2.5 hours and is considered an adventure well worth the effort.

Nestled in the jungle of Sri Lanka lies a stunning citadel called ‘Lion Rock’. Rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle. Its moat, ramparts, and extensive gardens, including its now mid-water gardens, make it an impressive spectacle. It’s no wonder why Lion Rock has become a popular destination for tourists and adventurers alike – its unusual beauty is simply breathtaking.

The Sigiriya frescoes, also known as the ‘Heavenly Maidens’, are some of the most renowned works of art in the world. They are located in a sheltered pocket at the top of Sigiriya Rock, an ancient fortress located in Sri Lanka. Day 3: Dambulla / Kandy

In the morning proceed to Ceylon’s old capital Kandy (Approximately 3.5 hours).

Dambulla Cave Temple is an ancient and unique religious site, with history and culture stretching back to the 2nd century BC. The temple complex is home to many magnificent Buddha images, rock paintings, and statues, making it one of the most iconic tourist attractions in the country. Day 4: Kandy

Today, you have the unique opportunity to attend a Cookery Class conducted by local women. Through this class, you will get an in-depth look into the complex and varied cuisine of Sri Lanka. With the help of experienced cooks, you will learn how to create delicious dishes that encompass all different ethnic groups living in Sri Lanka. Get ready for an unforgettable experience full of flavors and aromas!

You can take a Tuk Tuk ride to the local market can be an exciting and fun experience. Browsing the stalls of fresh produce and selecting ingredients for your next meal. You’ll get to enjoy the sounds and smells of the local market as you barter for goods with friendly merchants. So hop on board and enjoy a unique adventure full of flavor, color, and culture.

Day 5: Kandy / Nuwara Eliya / Ella

Get ready for an incredible journey to Nuwara Eliya! This picturesque town is a must-see when visiting Sri Lanka, with its breathtaking mountains, waterfalls, and tea plantations. Take your time on the road and admire the cascading Ramboda Waterfall while you make your way there. It’ll be an approximately 2.5-3 hour journey but well worth it!

Embark on a journey of discovery to one of the world’s leading producers of Ceylon Tea – Sri Lanka. Learn about the process of tea production, from picking to processing, while taking in the picturesque views of the tea plantations. Get hands-on experience in plucking tea leaves, and learn about the unique flavor profiles that each variety offers. Enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea as you take in this extraordinary experience!

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Sri Lanka’s tea country with a scenic train journey from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. Departing from Nanu Oya station at 12 pm, you will be enthralled by the stunning views of rolling hills, tea plantations, and waterfalls as you make your way to Ella, arriving at 2.30 pm. On board, enjoy the unique and unforgettable experience of traveling through some of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful landscapes.

Day 7: Yala / Mirissa

Day 8: Mirissa / Departure

If you’re looking for an incredible early morning experience, then whale watching at Mirissa Harbour is the perfect activity for you. Starting at 6:00 am from your hotel, the boat will depart at 6:30 and take you on a magnificent journey to see majestic whales in their natural habitat. Along with the breathtaking views, a packed breakfast and bottled water will be provided so that you can enjoy a comfortable ride.

Later you will transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
