Day 1: Arrival / Negombo

Negombo is a vibrant city that awaits your arrival. Upon landing at the airport, you will be greeted by your private chauffeur guide who will escort you to your hotel. Day 2: Colombo /Pinnawala /Sigiriya

The morning is the perfect time to explore the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka. Starting with a visit to Sigiriya, one can explore its iconic ruins, enjoy the majestic views, and get lost in its captivating history. A journey from Sigiriya will take you through some of Sri Lanka’s most stunning landscapes and rural villages, allowing you to experience a relish and scenic journey that will remain with you for many years to come to.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a unique and unforgettable experience for any traveler. Here, you will be able to observe a large herd of elephants in their natural habitat. Day 3: Sigiriya /Anuradhapura /Mihintale /Sigiriya

Take a journey back to the 3rd century and explore Anuradhapura, the first capital of Sri Lanka. After breakfast, you will be taken on an exciting city tour of Anuradhapura. Here, you will get to see the ruins of palaces, temples, monasteries, and royal parks. You will also learn about Sri Lanka’s rich history and culture as well as its vibrant people who still live in this ancient city.

Located in Anuradhapura, the Sri Maha Bodhi is a revered site of worship for Buddhists around the world. It is believed to be the oldest living tree in the world with documented records dating back to 2000 years. Visiting this sacred site is an incredible experience that allows visitors to gain insight into the importance of Buddhism and its history. It was grown from the same tree under which Prince Siddharth meditated in Bodh Gaya India and achieved enlightenment to become known as The Buddha. This Bodhi Tree thus serves as a symbol of spiritual awakening and has been venerated by Buddhists for centuries.

Mihintale is a special place steeped in history and legend. Located near Anuradhapura, it is a mountain peak believed to be the site of the meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa. It is only 1.5 hours away from Anuradhapura, so it is well worth taking the time to make the journey and explore. Visitors will be able to experience breathtaking views of Sri Lanka’s lush jungles and rolling hills.

Day 4: Sigiriya / Hiriwadunna / Sigiriya

Day 8: Trincomalee / Kandy

Day 11: Nuwara Eliya / Kitulgala

Morning spend at free.

In the afternoon engage in a scenic train ride to Nuwara Eliya, train departs by Kandy at 8.15 am and reaches Nuwara Eliya at 12.10 pm.
